Nora O'Brien I was Born and raised in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and later moved to the Virginia Beach area where I spent 21 years before relocating to the Jacksonville area. In 1995, to my surprise, I never realized that my first job here in Jacksonville would launch my real estate career. I brushed off my administrative skills and went to work for a real estate office. After two years, I was promoted into a Personal Assistant position within the Property Management division. There I enjoyed every aspect of property management. Each day was filled with a new and exciting avenue to go down. In 1999, I decided to pursue my real estate career and acquire my license. I spent the next three years as an Independent Contractor managing 100 plus properties for a property manangement company. In 2002, I acquired my Broker’s license and assumed the position of Broker, managing over 300 plus properties. I am now continuing my dream, by starting a family owned Real Estate company to serve the greater Jacksonville area. I am excited about putting my past experiences and skills to work to ensure the customer is serviced, just like how I would like to be treated. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, floral arranging, swimming and an occasional trip to the driving range.
I was born and raised in Virginia Beach, Virginia before migrating south to Florida. I have been part of the Jacksonville community for 14 years. I graduated from The Bolles School and attended UNF where I earned my Batchelor's Degree in English. I spent eight years in the banking and mortgage industry before deciding to test the property management waters. I have a unique perspective on the real estate field. I have seen all facets of the business while dealing with buyers, sellers, title companies and realtors. I find my free time spent with family. We enjoy tennis, golf and bowling. I also manage to squeeze in a few Jaguar games a year.
